Fidelity levels are graded meanings
The lattice, top down: source-exact — decoded values bit-identical to the checkpoint in its own encoding family. Source-equivalent — a different encoding whose decode reproduces the source values exactly. Numerically-approximate — same architecture, lossy representation. Structurally-approximate — components omitted or replaced, and the omission must be listed. Analysis-only — incapable of complete forward execution. Every variant's level is recorded against the source at extraction; a profile's claim is folded down from its selections.
