The per-layer declaration of which attention-class operator runs: softmax, gated-delta, KDA, MLA, Mamba2 — or recurrent, the honest name for a declared recurrence this build cannot identify.
Explicit since graph schema 6: the field is always written and required on read, with no absent-means-softmax default — absence silently reinterpreting a layer is exactly the fabrication the schema break removed. The operator gates the operand vocabulary too: role tables are operator-gated, so a mixer's bare norm.weight can never be mistaken for a transformer norm on an unknown stack.
